Discounts for automatic upsells were just released for Vanga. In this article we'll answer:
Before launching the automatic discounts, the only way to give customers a lower price was through Manual Offers. Now, you can apply a discount on all your automatic upsells the same way you activate the app - with a single click.
You don't have to set a discount for each offer or product that Vanga upsells. The automatic upsell discounts allow you to set a global discount range that will be used by the algorithm to show discounts between 0% and the discount percentage you select.
For example, we set a maximum automatic discount of 30% in our demo store.
A 20% discount was automatically applied by Vanga's algorithm to increase the chances of the customer buying the product while giving the store the highest possible revenue impact.
This means that if you select a 30% maximum automatic discount, Vanga's algorithm will choose one of three discounts to apply to your upsells:
No matter the discount percentage you select, a zero percent discount will always be a valid option for Vanga's algorithm. This means that some upsell offers might not have a discount applied at all if the algorithm decides that the revenue impact might be too low for your store.
🖐️ Important: The automatic discounts on upsells are not connected to the standard discounts in your Shopify store. They do not conflict with them since your own discounts are on the checkout level. Vanga's automatic discounts are just for the post-purchase page and only valid for product upsells.
To sum up, by enabling the automatic discount in Vanga, the algorithm will select the best discount for each offer for you. The main priority of Vanga is to drive the most revenue for your store, so it will apply the discounts according to her main objective.
